The 1975 are known for their energetic style. However, many people don’t know about their slower side. Point in case is Haunt // Bed, a beautiful ballad-like track.
Great song.

Mark Kozelek & Jimmy LaValle - Baby in Death Can I Rest Next to Your Grave
from Perils from the SeaMark Kozelek’s articulations of solitude, peripateticy, death, memory, thoughts on friends and family, etc. are as poignant and moving as they’ve ever been, helped in no small part by the various moods of Jimmy LaValle’s atmospherics.
Perils from the Sea is an incredible addition to Mark’s collection of stories, twenty years old and counting, recently constituted by an extended travelogue. This song in particular is evocative of red eye flights, lonesome strolls through antiseptic airports, hotel rooms unremembered. Unbelievably powerful. I’m in love with this collaboration.
Such an amazing landscape. I can only imagine what the first person to stumble upon this valley must have thought.

Beautiful is the only word capable of describing The Cinematic Orchestra’s To Build A Home.
Eden Mulholland’s I Will Echo will make you want to stomp your feet. It’s got a driving drum, a catchy chorus, and a quality sound that will please any and all.
